“Located in the historic Shamsabadi Street in Isfahan, Iran, this project draws inspiration from the poetic imagery of a ‘sky filled with kites,’ featuring a unique shell formed by fluid, overlapping plates. The realization of this complex geometry was a rigorous technical challenge. Eschewing automated presets or robotic simplifications, we achieved these intricate forms through custom algorithmic programming within Grasshopper (Rhino). By implementing sophisticated 2D and 3D rotation techniques to manipulate each element, we developed a parametric geometry that ensures both high technical precision and structural originality. This design achieves a profound visual impact by fluidly guiding the viewer’s eye through the retail space, preventing visual stagnation. Functionally, the installation fosters a seamless and tranquil experience for families and children through its organic, soft forms.
