NOVALIGHT is inspired by the image of a meteorite crossing the sky—a fragment of stone momentarily released from gravity and suspended between earth and air.
The stone-like body is suspended above the surface through an electromagnetic system. More than a technical feature, this creates a sense of freedom and weightlessness, as if a heavy object has been temporarily released from gravity.
The illuminated rods beneath the body represent an abstract interpretation of a meteorite’s luminous trail. Their irregular arrangement and flowing curves evoke traces of movement left behind as it passes through the sky.
The rods can be detached, bent, and repositioned, allowing the user to reshape the composition and create different interpretations of its trajectory.
NOVALIGHT transforms a fleeting moment into a tangible experience: a stone released from gravity, suspended in space, leaving behind a trail of light.
