Liquid Arc is conceived to introduce a fluid, living flow into space. Its crystal element is inspired by the movement of water and is designed around three expressions of motion: movement in color, layers, and shape. When assembled together, the elements form a parametric structure that extends through space like a continuous stream of water. Crystal transparency and gradual color transitions create a dynamic, living spatial presence.
The system allows forms to be created that, like water, can penetrate spaces and their openings, adapting their final configuration to the character of each environment. Liquid Arc is suspended and directed from two points by fine threads, providing the freedom to create diverse and fluid configurations.
For fabrication, each crystal layer is produced separately and then assembled onto a defined template. This process preserves the continuity, precision, and delicacy of the intended form across the entire composition.
