Lighting Performance & Usage Context

Qosa (Fine Dining): Operating primarily as an intimate culinary venue, its usage context revolves around lunch, dinner, and private gatherings. Lighting is targeted and low-glare to highlight table settings, food presentation, and wall textures without direct lamp exposure or glass reflections. Code (Bar-Lounge & Nightlife): Designed for late-hour social dynamic transitions, shifting from early evening drinks to high-energy afterparty scenes. The usage relies on dramatic focal lighting—illuminating bar displays, seating groups, and dynamic architectural coves.

Project Description

Innovation & Creativity
Dual-Volume Integration: Concealed fixtures within Qosa’s grand architecture while embedding compact, high-impact feature lighting into Code’s low-ceiling layout.
Aesthetic Impact & Visual Continuity
Atmospheric Contrast: Accentuated Qosa’s depth with layered warmth and Code with dynamic, high-contrast lighting. Balanced facade lighting preserves indoor-outdoor visual continuity.
Functionality & Usability
Adaptive Control & Comfort: DALI dimming shifts operational scenes seamlessly. Custom downlights with half-concealed apertures eliminate glass spill, avoiding reflections and hiding surface dust.
Sustainability & Responsibility
Energy Efficiency: High-performance LEDs paired with automated DALI load-zoning minimize power consumption across all spatial volumes.
Technical Excellence & Contextual Fit
Structural Integration: Embedded micro-fixtures into complex columns and niches, optimizing glare control and contrast ratios for Hyderabad’s luxury market.
