Vilnius Congress Hall is shaped by a lighting concept in which illumination becomes part of both the architecture and the musical experience. The centrepiece is a composition of custom-designed suspended luminaires, developed as an integral element of the interior and a distinctive identity for the hall. Their intensity can be adjusted to the character, dynamics and atmosphere of each concert, allowing the space to shift from quiet intimacy to a more expressive, dramatic scene. The composition is supported by integrated general lighting that provides visual comfort and functional flexibility without competing with the architecture. Concealed linear solutions emphasise the geometry, materials and key interior details, adding depth and guiding the eye through the space. Together, these layers create a balanced environment in which architecture, light and music respond to one another, enriching the audience experience before, during and after each performance.
