Project Description

A pair of bespoke art-glass chandeliers are the feature of this luxury home dining room. Each chandelier consists of 94 pieces of hand-blown glass created by artist Julie Conway, are the focal point of this luxury home. Inspired by the Art Nouveau of the 1930’s, Julie presents her interpretation of luxurious traditional lighting with a twist. Each glass cluster becomes an illuminated artwork of pastel colors, natural curves, organic forms suspended on her custom-designed framework of steel and brass, illuminated with her eco-halogen lamps for that perfect glow for entertaining.
Creating both a statement of art and a lighting impact of functionality simultaneously. Julie is not only an internationally recognized glass artist, she designs her armatures, and her lighting systems, as well as her suspension components, and her installation plans with electrical teams. Julie’s process from the glass furnace to the installation site is the complete package of creativity illuminated.
