Lighting Performance & Usage Context

Hospitality Lighting Design for a hotel, Interior & Exterior

Project Description

The Florentin transforms the historic Villa Speyer (1901) into a contemporary five-star destination where heritage and innovation are seamlessly connected through light. A unified lighting concept creates a seamless dialogue between historic and modern architecture, enhancing identity, well-being and the guest experience.

• A cohesive lighting strategy preserves the character of two distinct architectural areas.
• Tunable white lighting adapts to daylight, guest rhythms and changing functions.
• Warm ambient layers and precise accents create elegant, immersive spaces.
• Existing luminaires were refurbished and upgraded to LED, while exterior lighting minimizes light pollution through glare control and astronomical scheduling.
• Automated lighting scenes maximize comfort, consistency, flexibility and energy efficiency, redefining luxury hospitality through a timeless, future-ready lighting experience.
